Celebrating Independent Gainesville

C’mon baby, light our fire…

Our hearts are afire.
Why?

We stopped by Satchel’s Pizza for lunch today.  Yes, it’s open. And it remains tasty, fantastic, and every other positive adjective you can think of…

We are left speechless by how this beloved, indieGainesville institution rose from the ashes and accomplished what we thought was impossible.

It really is better than ever.

Enjoy some photos we took of the Little Engine that DID.
Satchel and the community came to a tragic scene, saw the ashes…and conquered.

The good guys and local business DO win.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this possible.

Hot fuss, hot bus
Hot new shirt!

Unique indie-style–Satchel’s is true to it’s “roots.”
