There’s no denying the popularity chocolate enjoys. People are downright passionate about it.
So why not eat chocolate carefully made by someone even more passionate about chocolate?
That’s what inspired Natalie, the artist and confectioner behind Armadillo Chocolates, to start this growing local business—her passion for chocolate.
Natalie is obsessive about chocolate, and this is evident in the first taste of her art.
When you eat a chocolate from Armadillo Chocolates, you’re not just tasting chocolate. You’re tasting creative energy, love of chocolate and food, and passion for nourishing the community.
Armadillo Chocolates are made from chocolate that is Rainforest Alliance certified. What does this mean? Aside from eating tasty chocolate, you’re eating chocolate whose producers harvest and maintain farms, the environment, wildlife, and workers comply with guidelines of sustainability, fair prices for the farmers and their employees, and responsible stewardship of the land and community in general.
Armadillo Chocolates has a close relationship with their chocolate supplier, so you can eat your chocolate with a clear conscience and focus on how damn delicious Armadillo Chocolates are.
The truffles come in several flavors. We’ve tried many, and one of our personal favorites is the burnt caramel with sea salt, the balsamic vinegar—no, wait—the lavender . . . .
Who are we kidding? We don’t have a favorite chocolate from Armadillo Chocolates because we honestly haven’t tried a single flavor we haven’t become enamored with. When we shared these with some friends, everyone raved about how great they were. Comments ranged from,
“I need this every day.” to “Wow. This is rich, but in a good way.”
Trust us.
Your taste buds will thank you.
Choco-porn time!
